It all About a Theme- February 2008

Everyone.... is tempted by those Patterned papers that Have A Theme....

This challenge is all about scrapping That Theme... That Theme that you bought that PERFECT patterned paper for but have never gotten around to scrapping.....

So for this challenge you are to scrap a theme with the pattern paper being the main 'giveaway' of what that theme is.... Happy Birthday, Fathers Day, The Zoo, A love for a particular sport, A season....(excluding Christmas layouts!!!) whatever ... so long as you use a patterned paper that depicts that theme.

Happy Scrapping....

Challenge Three - November

Something different for this challege. Go to your stash of pattern paper and rumage through it. We want you to find the oldest or most yuckiest pattern paper that you have (take a photo of it - we want to see it before you start). Go on we all know you have paper in your stash that you look and and think why on earth did I buy that.

Now scrap a 12x12 layout with it. Turn that old, yucky pattern paper into something new and trendy. You don't have to use a lot of it - you just have to use it.

Can't wait to see what you come up with for this one.

Congratulations

A little late.... 'YES'... but nevermind.... we would like to thank everyone for the wonderful layouts submitted to Penny-wise so far... they have been great and we hope that everyone has enjoyed creating them and the challenge... AS well as finally getting 'rid' of all other old and perhaps 'out of date' embellishments or papers.....

We would like to say Congratulations to Sam Fillingham... she has won a Fairy Fun Pack for her layouts from October...

Again thanks to all who have so far joined in and we hope that everyone keeps Scrapping their Scraps.....!!

Cheers

Challenge Two - November

I have just been tidying up my stash and I came across heaps and heaps of die cuts that I bought about three years ago - just when I first started scrapping. SO the challenge this week is to use at least three die cuts on your layout, if you don't have any die cuts use a "Jolee" shape sticker thing. Try and come up with a new and funky way to use them. Can't wait to see what you will do with the die cuts.

Challenge One - November

Okay ladies the first challenge for this month is to go through your stash and pull out;

3 different pattern papers (this means different manufactures!!!)
4 different types of embellishments (can be what ever your heart desires)
2 different types of rubons (this could mean words, letters, pictures, flourishes, anything)
and last but not least
3 different flowers!!!!

Don't forget we want you to use your scraps so we want to see what you start with!!! So send in a before and after photo - before you start and your layout after you finish.

Look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Challenge Three - October

Okay for this challenge you are to rumage through your stash and find something that is old. Now we mean old - something that you "just had to buy" when you first started scrapping. You know things like those Making Memories Metal Quotes or all those shaped paper clips in various colours. The kind of stuff that you have burried because you are too ashamed to use it. Dig it out now and use it in a fresh and funky way.
Don't take a photo of it for this challege - write to us in your e-mail and tell us how you have turned that old item into something new. Come on lets see if we can start a new trend with and old item.

Don't forget that if you do all four challenges in the one month you will go into the running for one of the fantastic Fairy Fun Packs from Enchanted Scrapbooking.

Get cracking we want to see your LOs, submit them all to us by October 31
